BB King - His Definitive Greatest Hits
Although BB King deviates slightly from the gritty, non-conventional motif, he stands as one of the best bluesmen of all time, and to not have this man on your Ipod is a crime.

Francesco Forgione. Also known as Padre Pio, or Pio of Pietrelcina. On June 16, 2002, Pope John Paul II canonized him a saint. Many believe he will be the last person to be so ordained. His alleged miracles were a mixture of psychic elements (mind reading, clairvoyance, etc.), and the physical manifestation of Stigmata, the wounds of Christ, on his hands, feet, and side. Despite attempts to discredit these abilities, Forgione remained a beloved priest among his congregation in Pietrelcina, many of whom defended Forgione from slander campaigns initiated by the Church in Rome, which accused him of being a backward, schizophrenic madman and womanizer. He’s one of the most fascinating men of the 20th century, definitely one of my favorite historical characters.

I’m glad we invented rock and roll. I don’t know what Robert Zimmerman here would have done without it.
